Show Pony is our off the farm purchase from Reynolds Showpigs and Breeding Stock, and one that hit us hard the first time we laid eyes on him. His mother is a sow that they purchased from Lackey Livestock and was a very successful show gilt. We not only really like this boar visually but on paper this pedigree just flat works combining some great genetics.

Show Pony is one whose name kind of says what he is because he is one incredible looking, tall fronted, level built boar that is as good as can make on the side. Comes at you with chest and width, square underneath, and when he rolls and goes away he is a big ended boar that is square hocked. He is up on pasterns, great set up front, and can reach and go off both ends. Get on top of this guy and he is shapley and massive up high and everything matches underneath. Hard to make the combination of build and design and still have power, but it is made easy with SHOW PONY!!!
