Playing By The Rules is a mature off the farm purchase from Wintex Farms that was bred by Knauth Showpigs that we have been kicking ourselves for not buying last year. We had his sire and grandsire in stud and didn’t think we needed, but after seeing what this guy and his littermate Overtime have done we kept kicking ourselves that we didn’t pull the trigger when we had the chance. Another littermate to this pair of boars was the gilt shown by the Rodibaugh Family in 2018 that was Champion Landrace Gilt at WPX in the junior show and is the mother of Seriously here at Upper Hand. We love the pigs that we have seen out of this dude and we wanted to try to get him one more time, and this offer finally worked on getting him from WTX.

Playing By The Rules is one attractive made hog with a great topline and proportions. He is one that offers great ear and breed character and the right length of body that is extended enough but not too long. Offers great feet and legs, up on pasterns, and a square hind leg that can flex and reach. Offspring are easy enough selling that offer that early muscle and shape, yet not round and quick. They are square underneath with bone. Now that we got this proven Landrace sire, it’s time to win with PLAYING BY THE RULES!!!!
