One Call Away is a boar that I found at Cain’s during the World Pork Expo, when I ran out there one morning. We have been on the search for a boar with some new blood and offers a little bigger package and not give up muscle, and this guy fit what we needed. Mother of this boar is a female that Cain Kids showed at the 2015 NBS Jr Gilt Show and was Champion Hampshire. They took her back home, and for them to do that she had to be very special. Sire of this guy is a boar they have there and a very impressive mature. After the farm tour, could pick out hogs sired by him because they all have the same look.

One Call Away is a boar that is flat incredible on the side if standing in his pen and out rolling down the isle. He is a high headed boar that is tall fronted that he literally runs uphill and not my favorite term but he fits that, and yet his shoulder is set back in him. He is very flexible off both ends with great bone and foot size. Shape and mass up high with a big center body and power coming and going with great pastern strength. When wanting to make Hampshires bigger in their kind and attractive from the side and not sacrificing spread, the answer is only ONE CALL AWAY!!!
