Mistletoe is a boar that we raised, and a Safeword son that we felt we needed to keep from a young age. Sired by Safeword, we love those hogs, he is making winners in the showring and sows that are generating. Mother is a Heimer purchase that we bought for $8,000 a few years ago and is out of the sow named Spice that has a real good wrap sheet. A neat pedigree that lines up winning genetics on both sides, some true generating ability in this guy.

Mistletoe is one that offers a bunch of good in terms of flexibility, looseness off both ends. He is great in his angles up front and a flexible square hip and hind leg. He is moderate in his frame with natural center body and flesh, yet still offers some shape and spread up high. Comes and goes with sqaureness and width. When looking for a boar for those bigger sows that need to be downsized and flesh added without sacrificing spread and squareness, then the way out is MISTLETOE!!!!
