Staircase is our off the farm purchase from Stohlquist and out of the first crop of Step Ones. Mother of this litter is also mother of Walks Alone, and out of a dominate Yorkshire program that has made boars that have impacted the breed. With that said, this pedigree combines 2 boars that the Stohlquist farm bred that have arguably made the 2 more recent impacts on the Yorkshire breed, Big Step and Amped Up.

Staircase is a boar that we feel is the ideal junior gilt maker. He is going to make them big enough and have that look from the side that is needed for the big ring. He is one that is still going to keep flesh and rib in them with some shape up high. He is great on his pastern set and squareness out of his hind leg. We think that when breeding those more moderate power sows that need look and balance from the side, then climb your way up with STAIRCASE!!!!
