Shady is our off farm purchase from Tim Johnson and the crew at Shady Grove Farms. We buy a bunch of pigs from them and have a program that has those extras and makes incredible feeding pigs. Got to make a few trips up there to check this dude out and pulled the trigger on him when decided to not make the trip to the 2023 STC. Mother of this boar and that sow line is what they are building around and have made bunch of winners and good feeding pigs.

Shady is one that is attractive from the side and is a shot bigger and more extended in his kind but I like that for his pedigee. He is square at his knee and comes at you with width and leaves with a square hock. We feel that this boar can be bred to those powerful females that need a shot more look, build, and keep bone in them. The combination hog that offers build with enough of everything in a sound package would describe SHADY!!!!
