Powerhouse is the 2022 Expo Reserve Grand Boar and one that we got to judge. We felt he offered some big time pieces when he hit the ring. Afterwards figuring out what this guy’s pedigree was, it excited us even more, being a Hibachi son on a dominant sow family. To quote my associate judge, 8 year old son Brantley, on the mic “really nice division, we’re going to use the POWERHOUSE for reserve”

Powerhouse is one super impressive boar that has that generating look like his sire with maybe more barrow proportions and shape. He is awesome from the side with a good look, long neck, has the correct set up front in his shoulder, flexible, and can reach and grab a gear behind. He is square and big chested and leaves with a square hind leg. Great in terms of rib and flesh, offers that true muscle shape and definition up high it takes to get you the backdrop. Having the good built sows that need a little more, keeping shape and look, and the angles right, then make it POWERHOUSE!!!!
