Fundamental is our purchase from the 2023 Heimer Online Boar Sale and one that hit us hard in April. He was a no question that he was going to land here. His littermate brother was shown by Brantley Platt and one of my all-time favorite Hampshire barrows. He was undefeated in the Hampshire barrow ring and started and ended his jackpot career with Grand Overall banners and was Champion Hampshire at the Expo. Another littermate was shown by Brayden Lancaster, and was 4 th  Overall Hampshire Barrow at Expo and was 4 th  Overall NSR Purebred and Champion Hampshire at the Team Purebred Junior Show. He is sired by Roar, and a boar that has done an awesome job and going to be one that is going to make plenty of hogs that make their way to the backdrop.  Mother produced the Champion Hampshire barrow at the 2020 American Royal. Killer litter of hogs and an incredible pedigree with banners in the blood and will produce the kind that hang them.

Fundamental is one of those boars that looks like the type and kind to make winning big ring junior hogs. He is so much like the pair of littermate brothers that won and looks the most like Brantley’s barrow, Andre, that we absolutely loved and was a killer baby and killer big one. He is tall fronted and level from the side, offers everything in a bigger package. For a bigger hog, he still offers muscle, shape, and comes and goes square at his knee and leaves with a square hock.
