Blue Bird is our weanling purchase from Hamby and a hog that was a great baby pig and has developed into a real good boar. He is sired by a Visionary son at Hamby’s. Mother is a clone of the Utterback Ottenwalter calico gilt that Hamby bought and has done so well for them. This is a boar that doesn’t have any Dirty Secret in the pedigee. A quality boar that offers that blue color pattern with a neat older proven pedigree.

Blue Bird is a balanced boar that is right about his angles off both ends and is square in his hind leg. He is one that is good boned and offers a great look from the side. He is more moderate in his frame and length of body and offers some center body and dimension. We looking for a boar to downside a shot and still offer a look and a great blue color then look no further then BLUE BIRD!!!!!
