Prestige is our pick of the Duroc boars at the 2015 STC. Not only an awesome pedigree but as good of a skeleton as you can make. This boar is out of a great litter of hogs that I went and looked at in the spring. They sold very well and have been competitive throughout the summer. Sired by Impeccable and what a statement he has made in his first crop winning at all levels. Mother of Prestige is the $15,000 Reserve Grand Gilt Overall 2014 NJSS shown by Austin Rodenbeck and bred by Parkinson and Rodibaugh. When having a sire and dam that are both built similar with the same squareness, design, and correct as you can make them, it’s pretty easy to see why Prestige is made the way he is.
Prestige is almost flawless in the way he is constructed being tall fronted and level made with sqaureness both coming and going. He is perfect pasterned and is super flexible off both ends. Not only an attractive great designed boar, but one that offers some shape and width that matches up high and down low. If you want to make good hogs that are good at every stage in their life and can be made into champions at the end, then do it with PRESTIGE!!!
